Today held a Health and Hygiene session at New Munsurabad Alhaz Mostafa Hakim High School with 2 classes, supported by Diakonia and conducted under the HEART project. A total of 38 girls and 32 boys students attended the session, which focused on Adolescents health, Sexual and Reproductive Health, and Rights. During the session, students shared their personal issues and experiences related to the changes they are experiencing and discussed ways to respond to them for personal care and to support others. The session was conducted by Program Officer Ripa Palit, with Program and Documentation Associate Md. Sumon Sarkar and assistance with Reshma Akter. We hope that these sessions will help empower adolescents to make informed decisions about their health and hygiene.
The HEART project aims to empower adolescents and motivate communities about gender sensitivity, human rights, and mental health. Through various project activities, we strive to provide adolescents with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to make informed decisions about their health, well-being, and future.
