3rd Expressive Psychotherapy Session for Female Students’ Psychosocial Well-being Held in Chattogram

Chattogram, 12 July 2025 – A daylong Expressive Psychotherapy Session focusing on the psychosocial well-being of female students who have faced or are vulnerable to violence was held at the Club Collegiate Auditorium, Press Club Building, Chattogram.

The session, facilitated by Obaidul Islam Munna, engaged 20 female students from Premier University, Port City International University, and the University of Chittagong. Through theatre-based exercises, art expression, group discussions, and sensory grounding activities, participants explored ways to release suppressed emotions, rebuild confidence, and foster resilience.

Organized by Utsa, the session aimed to create a safe and empathetic space for self-expression and mutual support. Participants shared real-life experiences, created dialogues, and performed short theatrical pieces addressing the culture of silence around harassment and violence against women.

This initiative was supported by Free Press Unlimited, Article 19, and the European Union, in collaboration with Dataful, Sangbad, and Suprovat.
