o raise awareness about environmental protection among students, a drawing competition was organized on October 3, 2024, at Borgaon High School in Purbo Subidpur Union, Chandpur. The event, initiated by UTSA under the HART project with support from Diakonia, saw participation from 70 students from grades six to nine in two categories.
The students’ drawings highlighted various environmental issues, such as reducing plastic use, preventing air and river pollution, planting trees, and conserving water bodies. After the competition, six students from both categories were awarded school bags as prizes, and all participants received pencil boxes as gifts.
Assistant Headmaster of Borgaon High School, Mr. Abdul Latif, addressed the students during the prize distribution ceremony, which was also attended by senior teachers of the school.
