On June 9, 2024, UTSA distributed two bicycles to female students of Ticket Printing Press Colony High School in Chattogram. The distribution program, organized in association with Diakonia, took place on the school premises. The event was attended by Mr. Mazharul Islam, Program Officer of Diakonia; Mr. Mrinal Kanti Dash, Head Teacher of TPP High School; Muhammad Shah Alam, Program Coordinator of UTSA; and Ripa Palit, Program Officer of UTSA.
The girls expressed their happiness and gratitude to Diakonia and UTSA for the bicycles. The school authority has scheduled training sessions to teach the girls how to ride the bicycles.
