On October 3, 2024, the theatre play *’Shopnoful’*, which focused on gender equality and preventing child marriage, was staged at the premises of Borgaon High School and Basara High School in Purbo Subidpur, Chandpur. Organized by UTSA under the HEART project, with support from Diakonia, the event aimed to raise awareness among students and the community.
Before the play, Assistant Headmaster of Borgaon High School, Abdul Latif, and Headmaster of Basara High School, Yadav Krishna Saha, addressed the audience and students.
The play, written and directed by Suman Sarkar, featured performances by Imam Mehdi Miraz, Dipto Chowdhury, Sabrina Reza Shimul, Mohammad Nasir, Ramiza Sultana, Faria Sultana Preeti, Imran Khan Sahil, Md. Arif, Sohana Akter, and Md. Sultan.
