On October 2, 2024, a theatre therapy session was organized by UTSA with the students of Basara High School in Purbo Subidpur Union, Chandpur, with support from Diakonia. As part of the HEART project, 60 students from class Nine participated in the session. Through spontaneous action, reaction, and co-creation, students explored challenges they face daily, including bullying and other obstacles. By actively engaging in the session, they found ways to relieve mental stress.
The session was facilitated by UTSA’s Program Coordinator, Muhammad Shah Alam, and Documentation and Program Associate, Suman Sarkar. The event began with a welcome speech from Basara High School’s Headmaster, Yadav Krishna Saha.
