On November 12, 2023, a team of UTSA visited the BARCIK working area in Netrokona, Bangladesh.
The UTSA team visited the seed house, seed preservation facility, and crop hospital, and exchanged experiences with farmers and cultivators on seed production, preservation, and crop management practices.
The UTSA team also visited BARCIK’s rice pollination system. BARCIK’s rice pollination system is one of the most advanced in the world, and the UTSA team was impressed with the level of technology.
